Iraq War April 2008 by a Democrat in Greenville County SC

Cheney's Rove Rumsfeld McBush Legacy
The photo below is a mosaic made up of the 4000 faces of the fallen in Iraq.  I can think of lots of things to say about this "art" but I think all of you already know what I think.  Sort of sums up the tragedy, I guess.  Click on the picture to go to a version on line to view in full size to see the individual faces.

Nation Building For Our Enemies

John McCain is so wrong on Iraq, he can't even get the basic facts about the situation on the ground correct.

Today, April 08, 2008, as he was questioning Gen. David Petraeus, he again confused the difference between Shiite and Sunni Muslims.

At least five times as a candidate John McCain has stated that Iran (a Shiite nation) is supporting Al-Qaeda (a Sunni group) in Iraq. This is not some minor mistake, but a significant gaffe. He clearly does not understand the sensitive political dynamics in that region of the world.

What's worse is that he's done it at important times when you'd expect him to be at his best -- he did it today in the Senate while questioning the commander of American forces in Iraq, and he did it on a recent trip to the Middle East.

If John McCain can't remember such a simple fact at crucial times, how will he be able to do it as President?

At the time of 4,000 deaths

of our military in Iraq.

The spin is the same as we heard around the time of 3,000 deaths.  What will we hear around the time of 5,000 deaths?  The same as we heard around the time of 2,000 deaths.  What will we hear around the time of 10,000 deaths?  25,000 deaths?  50,000 deaths?

Or a RINOR leading us to Fascism

Obey the Money Bags

Our Military Troops will be there until the Iraq Parliament agrees to allow "Western Oil Corporations" to control the profits from Iraqi Oil. Follow the Money.

Corporate Control of Government WITH-OUT Accountability is the Foundation and Cornerstone of Fascism.

How does a government exist?
By those backing and supporting it.

Fascism as it grows is like an iceberg.
You only see ten percent of it.

A foundation is almost always hidden by dirt.
A cornerstone usually rests on a foundation, and is the small percent you see at first.

It is the details in the "dirt" that holds up Fascism.

The people backing and supporting a Fascist Government hide in their "dirty tricks" to accomplish their agenda to have government control all the aspects of production - distribution of commodities, goods, and services for the benefit of and massive profits to a few.

Now you know what is meant by "K-Street is the path to Fascism."

If Voting Citizens want Fascism by continuing the excesses of so called neo-conservative capitalist, (RINORs) it's what we will have, and Democracy is lost.

The overwhelming - vast majority of corporations (capitalist) are good citizens.  Making an honest profit is their objective.

It's the less than ten percent that put profits above all else, by hook or crook, control the government to control the flow of money to line only their pockets.

VOTING CITIZENS - take your responsibility serious

STOP FASCISM - before it to late.

How DID We Get Here? by Ronald D. Glotta A Must Read
The Road to Hell is Not Paved with Good Intentions

QUOTE: "Mussolini was the first leader to give a theoretical structure to fascist political philosophy. He was the first to explicitly conjoin fascism and corporate control of government. His ability to rise to power, similar to Hitler’s, can be traced directly to WW 1, a success by capitalist standards.
~ ~
the essence of fascism: not totalitarianism or right-wing ideology, as historians have conveniently tried to argue, but nothing less than corporate control of government. As an economic unit, the corporation is totally antidemocratic in concept and application. And that explains the totalitarian nature of fascism."

Afghanistan War

Let's face it - we blew it.

We had the world in our hands and supporting us after 9/11, ready and willing to fight terrorism.

Instead of making an example of Afghanistan and the Taliban for supporting Al-queda by taking the approach of "level-em" to prove what will happen when you attack us, we cheaped "out sourcing" to Heroin Poppy Growing Warlords for the true war our country demanded.

It was a just war in the beginning

Instead of using the might of our military force against those who attacked us, we send them to Iraq.

Just how screwed up can we get?

They showed no mercy for our innocent civilians - "women and children" - on September 11, 2001 ( 9/11 ) and we owed them no mercy. War is Hell and they should have been taught the lesson we can take it to them. But we come out looking stupid.

To the people in the Mid-East, did we send a message we're not interested in those responsible for terrorist acts?

If we don't have the "spirit" to fight our true enemies, why should the people over there take our side?

No they're going with the local folks who show "they are more than a token presence."

Yes, here in April 2008 the word from the SFBs in the Bush Administration is we will be sending more troops to Afghanistan while whining NATO Treaty and other countries will not send more troops.

To dumb to admit stupid mistakes, but show by words and actions the diversion to Iraq was and is a failed policy, leaving our forces divided.

Cheney could have had his Central Asian Oil and Pipelines to Israel if he had not stopped a huge military operation in Afghanistan by being so greedy for his cronies get Iraq Oil first without finishing the business at-hand against out enemies. Now it's just another quagmire, sapping out country. Beating the Hell out of anything closely related to Al-Quieda with bombs and missles before sending in the troops would have been a fine example, let them all know you could be next.
